Crafty Writing: Visible Repairs

Venue: The Writers Workshop

Facilitator: Carmel Page

Learn visible clothing repairs to revitalise your look and save you money. Then use your crafty to inspire creative writing or choose to write on your clothes. No experience needed. Suitable for adults and teens.

You are encouraged to bring clothes with you that have holes that would benefit from darning. But fabric will be provided to practice on if you prefer.

We will be using recycled and salvaged materials.

Carmel Page is an author who hasn't bought any new clothes for over seven years, but she gets more comments on her repaired clothes than she ever did when they were new.

Join this friendly group where craft and writing are combined and everyone is welcome.
