*NEW* Start Your Travel-Writing Journey

Location: The Writers Workshop

Tutor: Clare Jenkins

"The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes.” Marcel Proust

Whether you're going on vacation to Scarborough or South Africa, travelling 50 miles from home or 5000, writing about your travels can be a great way to fully appreciate a special trip, to record it for posterity, or share your experience with others.

In this introductory, interactive workshop, we'll explore the different types of travel writing and learn to see any destination, near or far, with new eyes.

Hopefully, you'll leave inspired to write more about your journeys and, perhaps, think about sharing your work with a wider audience.

Please note that the session will include an outdoor activity.
