Facilitator: Anne Grange
This workshop is suitable for anyone who wants to get into writing, as well as people with more experience. It's designed to open your creativity, and I guarantee that, by the end of the workshop, you will have written something!
We all had some kind of education and, for good or bad reasons, this makes an indelible mark on us. We all have memories of school: the friendships, the rivalries (perhaps the bullying), the uniforms, the school dinners, the playground games, the homework, as well as your favourite teachers and subjects. It's a rich seam to mine for our creative writing, whether you are writing a memoir or autobiography or whether you want to harness your memories for fiction, drama, or poetry.
We'll be trying out a series of practical prompts and exercises intended to spark your creativity. The session will be fun, interactive, and empathic.
