Taking place online (via Zoom) once a month, Pen Pushers is an intensive hour of creative-writing improvisation that uses theme-based prompts to spark your imagination and get the ink flowing. The use of pen and paper is strongly encouraged because handwriting gets us into a different headspace than typing, but you can use whatever writing tool is most appropriate to you.
Each session will include several short, focused writing exercises where we can explore characters, situations, places and ideas. Hopefully, these exercises will open the doors to worlds you can explore more fully in your own time.
